Q&A: Ain’t this the truth?

Question by renclrk: Ain't this the truth?
crossed my desk - how can you argue against?
Instead of giving billions of dollars for projects that nobody needs or wants e.g. insulation bats, solar panels, school fund to have three assembly halls at ten times the price for 30 students. Why not use the following plan.

You can call it the Gillard Redhead Retirement Plan:

There are about 5million people over 50 in the work force.

Pay them Â$ 2 million each severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:

1) They MUST retire.
Five million job openings - unemployment fixed

2) They MUST buy a new Australian car.
Five million cars ordered - car Industry fixed

3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis fixed

4) They MUST send their kids to school/college/university - Crime rate fixed

5) They MUST buy Â$ 100 WORTH of alcohol/tobacco a week.....And there's your money back in duty/tax etc

It can't get any easier than that!

Also
Let's put the pensioners in jail and the criminals in a nursing home.

This way the pensioners would have access to showers, hobbies and walks.

They'd receive unlimited free prescriptions, dental and medical treatment, wheel chairs etc and they'd receive money instead of paying it out.

They would have constant video monitoring, so they could be helped instantly, if they fell, or needed assistance.

Bedding would be washed twice a week, and all clothing would be ironed and returned to them.

A guard would check on them every 20 minutes and bring their meals and snacks to their cell..

They would have family visits in a suite built for that purpose.

They would have access to a library, weight room, spiritual counselling, pool and education.

Simple clothing, shoes, slippers, PJ's and legal aid would be free, on request.

Private, secure rooms for all, with an exercise outdoor yard, with gardens.

Each senior could have a PC a TV radio and daily phone calls.

There would be a board of directors to hear complaints, and the guards would have a code of conduct that would be strictly adhered to.

The criminals would get cold food, be left all alone and unsupervised. Lights off at 8pm, and showers once a week. Live in a tiny room and pay Â$ 400.00 per week and have no hope of ever getting out.

Think about this (more points of contention):

COWS
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Goondiwindi almost three years ago, right to the paddock where she slept in the feedlot at Bony Mountain?

And, they even tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 125,000 illegal immigrants wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

Also;
Think about this ... If you don't want to forward this for fear of offending someone -- YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM! It is time for us grumpy old folk of Australia to speak up!

Interchangable with Obama and his plan - magnify the same in proportion of population - not a great deal of difference in policy

Unique to the Marketplace Outdoor Solar Products Available through New Website

New Castle, PA (PRWEB) December 23, 2011

Instantly add curb appeal or increase the security of a home with solar lighting from http://www.DirectSolarSolutions.com. The new site, founded by web entrepreneur David Stauble, features unique, eco-friendly, and cost-effective outdoor solar lighting fixtures and solar-powered water fountains.

Illuminate walkways, entryways, and highlight garden beds with solar landscape lights. There is lighting for every person?s style, from elegant solar lanterns to funky LED marker lights. Linger outdoors a bit longer with light supplied from a romantic frosted scroll square patio lantern or super bright solar LED floating lights. Not just for aesthetics, solar spot lights and motion activated flood lights help keep homes secure.

?With solar products there are no messy wires. They?re easy to install, easy to maintain, they?re attractive, and they help people keep their electric bills down,? said Stauble.

Solar lights of today are a far cry from the dim orange glowing orbs of the past. At DirectSolarSolutions.com, customers can scoop up brightly colored solar powered LED string lights that are perfect for keeping the electric bill down without sacrificing holiday festivity. Specialty lights like crystal balls solar string lights, dragonfly solar lights, and hummingbird solar lights are also quite popular.

?My ultimate goal is to have my customers? yards be the envy of all their neighbors,? said Stauble. ?When people walk into my customers? yards they should immediately say, ?Wow! That looks great! Where did you get those lights???

Further enhance outdoor spaces with solar pond and pool lights, cascading or standing solar powered water fountains, or solar pond fountains. The soothing sounds of a Sundance Mosaic ceramic cascade solar fountain or Green Bamboo solar fountain transform any outdoor area into a relaxing oasis. Another stylish garden addition to try is a two-tier solar on-demand birdbath fountain.

Customer satisfaction is guaranteed at DirectSolarSolutions.com. Each product has been thoroughly researched for quality, durability, and affordability. Orders are filled and shipped promptly, with orders totaling $ 99 or more shipped for free. Feedback is always welcome and responded to in a timely manner by a friendly, knowledgeable staff member.

?I spent a lot of time researching the products and trying to find products that are unique to the market place; things you won?t find in a big box home improvement store,? said Stauble. ?My prices are competitive, if not lower than my competitors. I provide excellent customer service, and if there ever is a problem, I will bend over backwards to resolve the issue.?

Learn all about ?going off the grid? with solar lighting through the site?s brand new blog, http://www.DirectSolarSolutionsBlog.com. The interactive platform is frequently updated with detailed product reviews, solar lighting and fountain installation tips, and ?go green? information.
